* 5–6 cucumbers (sliced)
* 1 cup water
* 1 cup white vinegar
* 1 tbsp sugar
* 1 tbsp salt
* 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
* 1 tsp mustard seeds (optional)
* 1 tsp dill seeds or fresh dill (optional)
Method
1. Wash and slice the cucumbers evenly.
2. In a saucepan, add water, vinegar, sugar, and salt.
3. Heat until sugar and salt dissolve completely. Do not boil too long.
4. Place cucumber slices, garlic, mustard seeds, and dill in a clean glass jar.
5. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cucumbers until fully submerged.
6. Let it cool to room temperature.
7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours (best after 24 hours).
8. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
