After years of dedication, laughter, decorations, parties, bingo games, and making sure no holiday ever went unnoticed… our amazing Activities Director is retiring.

It will be hard — nearly impossible — to fill her shoes. She didn’t just plan activities… she created joy, memories, and moments our elders and staff will never forget.

While we celebrate her next chapter, we are now hiring for an Activities Director to continue the fun, creativity, and heart she poured into Dawson.

If you have a passion for making a difference (and aren’t afraid of glitter, party planning, and a little chaos 😉), we’d love to talk to you.

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable Registered Nurse who doesn’t mind a little time on the road! If you enjoy serving others and are willing to travel, we want to connect with you.

We know your time is valuable — and so is your gas tank. That’s why we pay mileage for anything over 20 miles. When you show up for our elders, we make sure you’re supported in return.

February has kept us on our toes at Dawson Place! 💕
From grade school kiddos delivering the sweetest Valentines, to KAYS members decorating cookies with our elders (and maybe sneaking a little frosting taste test 😉), to our Valentine’s Dance… it’s been full of love and laughter.

And of course, the highlight — crowning our Valentine King & Queen 👑❤️ Nothing better than watching smiles that say, “We’ve still got it!”

Love lives here, and it’s been showing all month long.

We wore red for heart health ❤️… warmed up for the Super Bowl 🏈… and then tested our heart health with game-day snacks.

It’s called balance.

Law Enforcement Appreciation at Dawson Place went slightly off script… 🍩🚓
One officer ditched his strict diet for a donut, and one of our elders even got “arrested” (don’t worry—charges were dropped immediately 😉).
Just another day at Dawson Place keeping things interesting!

We made pizza. We ate pizza. We drank wine. We played cards. We ate ice cream because it’s a priority.
No resolutions were harmed in the making and this is how we rang in the New Year at Dawson. 😆

From Christmas caroling in our own halls (because our elders wanted to 🎶), to a wonderful Christmas dinner shared with elders and their families, to children filling Dawson Place and singing songs, to Santa stopping by with gifts 🎅🎁, to the generosity of our community gifts, and MK Photography capturing all the special moments 📸… our December has been busy, joyful, and truly blessed.
