A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Chili Cook-off! It was a fantastic afternoon filled with friendly competition, great food, and lots of smiles. Our team really brought the heat this year!

Honoring Our Veterans – A Heartfelt Thank You 🇺🇸

On November 11th, we had the privilege of celebrating and thanking the incredible Veterans here in our facility. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to our country remind us every day what true service looks like. It was an honor to share a special dinner in recognition of all they have done.

🎃 Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our very first Trunk-or-Treat event! Even with the chilly weather, it turned out to be a fun-filled evening for all.😊 The residents absolutely loved seeing all the little ones dressed up in their creative costumes! 👻

Last Stop on Our Cruise Week! 🚢🌺

Our final destination was Hawaii for the grand Captain’s Dinner! 🌴
Residents enjoyed an amazing meal prepared by our talented culinary team, featuring:

🥣 Starter: New England Clam Chowder
🥩 Main Course: Surf & Turf 🦞 — grilled ribeye steak paired with baked lemon and herb lobster, served with a loaded baked potato and grilled asparagus
🍰 Dessert: A delightful nautical dessert flight

To top off the evening, Elvis made a special appearance with a Hawaiian flair — bringing fun, music, and plenty of smiles! 🎶💃

🍎 Harvest to Table Experience! 🍞

On October 9th, our residents took a special outing to Yutzy’s Farm Market — and this time, Chef Rachelle joined in on the fun! Residents handpicked a variety of fresh ingredients for her to use in Friday’s interactive cooking demonstration. Everyone had such a great time selecting different items (and even challenging Chef Rachelle a bit!).😊

We also couldn’t resist picking up some fresh apples, which inspired an apple bar back on campus where residents customized their own delicious apple treats. 🍎🍯

Then on Friday, October 10th, Chef Rachelle wowed everyone at happy hour as she prepared a Farmer’s Market Ragout on Rustic Bread using the ingredients our residents picked — cabbage, turnips, roma tomatoes, butternut squash, and spaghetti squash. It looked, smelled, and tasted amazing! 🤩

It was a wonderful Harvest to Table Experience full of creativity, fresh flavors, and smiles shared by all. 👩🏻‍🍳🥘
