Honoring the Veterans of the Korean War 🕊️

Let's remember and honor the brave individuals who served during the Korean War. July 27 marks the signing of the armistice in 1953, ending active fighting and symbolizing the resilience and sacrifice of all who served.

CONGRATULATIONS RICK TIDD

This year at the 145th OFDA Convention, the OFDA recognized and honored Rick Tidd with a Milestone Service Award for 50 years of his dedication and compassionate service as a Funeral Director.

Rick is not only a Funeral Director, he is an Embalmer, and the owner of Tidd Family Funeral Homes in Hilliard, Plain City, West Jefferson, and Mount Sterling, Ohio. He has been committed for the last 50 years to serving bereaved families and their loved ones in their time of need. Rick has built an excellent reputation over the years for his compassion and commitment to the families and the communities he serves.

Employee Highlight:

We are excited to introduce Kendall Baird as our newest employee at Tidd Family Funeral Homes. Kendall is the granddaughter of Rick and Arlene Tidd, and the 3rd generation to work at the Tidd Family Funeral Home. She is the daughter of Shelly (Tidd) and Steve Baird.

Kendall graduated from Jerome Dublin High School in 2024. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports, and working side-by-side with her mom (Shelly) and Poppie (Rick). Kendall is entering her sophomore year at the University of Kentucky and holds a 3.9 GPA. She is a hard worker who always greets the families with a kind smile.

Kendall is a great asset to the Tidd Family Funeral Home. Please help us welcome her to the Tidd Family Funeral Home Staff.

Tidd Funeral Homes is excited to welcome Sydnie and Kenzie Bushong to our staff as door greeters.

This past May we had two of our employees graduate from Wittenberg university. Sydnie(left) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education(PK-5) and Kenzie(right) graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise science. Sydnie plans on pursuing a career in teaching, while Kenzie will pursue her masters degree to become a physician assistant in the future! The twins would like to thank the Tidd family and staff for all they do for them as well as the community!
