🚧⚠️❗️Construction Update🚧⚠️❗️
Starting Monday, April 13, our Hospital Main Entrance will be closed. Please see below for all appointments and visits for the Specialty Clinics, Outpatient Appointments, Inpatient Unit. The EMERGENCY ROOM entrance remains open and unchanged.

-Patients and visitors should enter through the Fitness & Aquatics doors between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday.
-Parking is available in the Patient & Visitor lot, Fitness & Aquatics lot, Douglas-Telfer lot and Emergency Room lot.
-Registration staff and the financial counselor will be temporarily relocated to the former outpatient Therapy Services area inside Fitness & Aquatics. Patients may pay at the Fitness & Aquatics entrance.
-Guest Services Concierge team members will be stationed in the Fitness & Aquatics lobby to es**rt patients and visitors.
--Golf carts will also be available to shuttle patients and visitors from the doors to their cars.
The Fitness & Aquatics doors will also serve as the main exit for patients and visitors.
-On evenings (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and weekends, patients and visitors will continue to use the Emergency entrance as usual. Patients and visitors may exit at Fitness & Aquatics.

😃🥳The Montgomery County Health Department came today for an expected but unannounced survey for the hospital kitchen. Please join us in congratulating the entire dietary department for receiving ZERO deficiencies! Kudos to the Hillsboro Health dietary team-- thank you for the hard work you do, each and every day, to provide high quality services to our patients and our team.

🟣 Hillsboro Health will host a free mental health training workshop! 🟣 April 27-28 🟣

Living Works Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an evidence-based, interactive two-day training designed to help participants recognize when someone may be at risk of su***de, engage in supportive and potentially life-saving conversations, and connect individuals to appropriate resources.

This hands-on training focuses on practical skills, confidence-building, and shared language to strengthen local response to mental health crises.

What participants will gain:
-Increased confidence recognizing su***de risk
-Skills to engage in direct, supportive conversations
-Strategies to develop a safety plan and connect individuals to help
-A shared framework for responding to crisis situation

Who should attend:
-Healthcare professionals
-First responders
-Social service providers
-Educators
-Community leaders
-Anyone who lives or works in the community and wants to be prepared to help someone in crisis.

No prior mental health or su***de prevention training is required.

⚠️🔨🦺💪🚧 CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS! Work on building our new outpatient surgery addition has officially begun! First, the old hospital wing to the west of the building must be torn down. Hillsboro Health CEO Mike Alexander and team members helped with demo day! And while many of us reflect on the important patient care that has been provided in those rooms since 1975, we are also excited to be a part of building a new, modern surgery center that will help Hillsboro Health serve more patients in the future. When needed, you can schedule a screening colonoscopy at Hillsboro Health with Dr. Joseph Bl**er or Dr. Keith Cochran.
