We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Alayna Kucera to the team!
A proud McPherson native, Dr. Kucera was born and raised right here in McPherson, Kansas.
Many in the community may remember her as Alayna Wallace. After graduating from McPherson High School, she attended Bethel College where she earned bachelor's degrees in Natural Science and Psychology. During her time at Bethel, she was an active student leader, played on the women's soccer team, and performed in the steel drum band. It was also at Bethel where she met her husband, Thomas. They were married in August 2023.
Dr. Kucera went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) through UMKC and is on track to graduate in December 2025.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kucera is an avid reader, runner, and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking in the beautiful landscapes of Wyoming. She and her husband love trying out new restaurants, traveling, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, a team she now roots for thanks to her husband's lifelong loyalty. They also have a beloved dog named Theo, whom they adopted just over a year ago. Theo is their favorite adventure buddy and often joins them on walks and hikes.
Dr. Kucera is excited to return to her hometown area and is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients while providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to the local communities she serves.
