This is a rule that I can get behind!
The best technology rule for kids is refreshingly simple, Rheana Murray argues.

As a mom, Murray’s news feed is flooded with all the ways she must protect her kids from technology: social-media bans, screen-time limits, the “Wait Until 8th” pledge, analog technology. Some advise reading your kids’ texts. Others say give them privacy. “Add in the eye-roll-inducing reminder that ‘every kid is different,’ and the guidance will suck the joy out of parenting faster than your kid can download TikTok,” Murray writes.
But out of all the advice, experts kept bringing up one rule: No screens in the bedroom, ever. “Immediately, I was drawn to the simplicity. There were no apps to download, no timers to set, nothing to buy,” Murray writes. “It seemed like a holy grail.” She explains what it is and how parents can implement it at the link.
