Yoga for beginners and beyond. Yin, Flow, yoga for the subtle body and meditation. Yoga became my salvation.

My passion to help guide others in their wellness journey began in college when my strength and conditioning coach inspired me to pursue a degree in nutrition and exercise physiology. During this time I was running track, and while I dabbled in yoga a bit, I never fully committed to a regular practice. Fast forward several years and two kiddos later, I found myself in a constant state of anxiety along with persistent pain from rheumatoid arthritis. Fortunately, I found a gym that provided childcare and began a consistent yoga practice. I was specifically drawn to the breathwork and the meditative aspects of yoga. I found freedom, space, balance and healing - the practice was transformative and all-encompassing. I knew I wanted to share this practice with others. In my classes, I aim to hold a safe, welcoming space for students to explore mindful movement to encourage students toward deeper awareness of their emotional, mental and physical body. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from MU. I earned my 200-hour yoga teacher certification through Urban Breath Yoga in November 2017. In 2020, I completed an additional 50-hour formal Yin yoga training from Urban Breath Yoga and completed my 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training at South River Yoga in 2021. Off the mat, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two boys, and two pups, reading, being outdoors, and traveling/camping.
