: Congratulations to our Director of Diagnostic Imaging, Mary Lucas Koach, for being honored with the OHSU Mobile Health Coalition Champion Award last week! 🏆

This award recognizes and celebrates the advancement of mobile health care through service, collaboration and leadership. ✨

Since 1999, Mary has dedicated her career to serving others at Hillsboro Medical Center. 🏥

She’s held a variety of vital positions, including as a lead mobile mammography technologist, Breast Health Manager and Diagnostic Imaging Manager.

Mary has always been a strong advocate for our mobile mammography services.

She played a critical role in introducing our state-of-the-art mobile mammography van Dottie that makes mammograms accessible to communities throughout our region. 🚐

Behind-the-scenes of saving lives. 🚨

When a patient comes to us experiencing heart failure, one available advanced treatment is to implant a peripheral left ventricular assist device (pVLAD).

A pVLAD is a tiny device that functions as a pump to help unload the left ventricle and provide circulatory support.

This valuable technology enables the heart to be supported immediately. ❤️
