Did you know that colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer?

Since it often doesn’t cause symptoms after it has grown or spread, it’s important to get screened early.

If you’re 45 or older, or have a family history of colorectal cancer, talk with your health care provider about what's best for you.

Meet Dr. Christina Wright, a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon at Hillsboro Medical Center.

“As someone who wants to see their patients get back to the life they want, I do prioritize shared-decision making.

I really like to get to know my patient. I like to know what drives them.

I want to know if there are certain things physically, mentally, psychologically, that are tied up with their pain and get to the bottom of that.” – Dr. Christina Wright
