Hillsboro Community Hospital is a 15 bed critical access hospital. We pride ourselves on providing top quality care for Hillsboro and the surrounding area of Marion County. Services include diagnostic and therapeutic services, 24 hour emergency care, outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures, convenient and specialized outpatient resources, and other services designed to improve the health and well-being of our community.
As a Registered Nurse at HCH, you will help to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients; promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of our patients; and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship based care, our organizational mission, and our core values.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Registered Nurse candidates will need the following:
•Current state nursing license
•Emergency Department experience preferred
•Current BLS certification required
•ACLS and/or PALS preferred, but not required
•One year experience preferred, but not required
Registered Nurse Physical Requirements:
•Ability to work 12 hour shifts
•Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the shift
•Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch
•Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust your focus
•Occasionally help to lift or move more than 50 lbs
