🦷✨ November is Mouth Cancer Action Month! ✨🦷

This month, we’re raising awareness about mouth cancer and the importance of early detection. The message of this month is to BE MOUTH-AWARE.

LOOK FOR SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF MOUTH CANCER:
• Ulcers which do not heal within three weeks
• Red & white patches in the mouth
• Lumps or swellings in the mouth or head & neck area

During your regular dental check-up, we'll check for any potential issues early as part of our efforts to help each patient have top overall health.

Together, we can fight mouth cancer and promote better oral health for all. 💪💙

❗BEWARE❗ Sweets and candy can play some devious tricks on your smile if you're not careful! 🍬🍫🍭

Here are a few tips from your dentist on some easy ways you can have a healthier Halloween while still enjoying the season! 👻

🎃 Try to avoid stickier candies that stay in your mouth for longer (suckers, Laffy Taffy, Jolly Ranchers, etc)
🎃 Don't eat candy all day – plan a designated time for it! Right after mealtime is best.
🎃 Brush your teeth at least an hour after your last piece of candy. Don't forget to floss!
🎃 Keep up with your 6 month checkups to prevent cavities or to catch them early!
