✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Tiffany ✨

Meet Tiffany, the heart behind Hillsborough Pharmacy and Nutrition 💚

Tiffany’s passion for community pharmacy began in pharmacy school, where she knew she wanted to care for patients with deeper connection and intention. After working in a grocery chain pharmacy, she envisioned something more personal—leading her to open Hillsborough Pharmacy & Nutrition in September 2011 (celebrating 15 years this year! 🎉) with the mission of Keeping Our Community Healthy. Built on whole-person care, the pharmacy focuses on treating people as more than numbers, offering personalized services that consider each patient’s medications, conditions, and life circumstances, along with expanded clinical services such as vaccinations, adherence packaging, counseling and prescribing, and compounding.

💙 Why PORCH?
As a pharmacist, Tiffany sees firsthand how food insecurity impacts health. When families must choose between food and medication, adherence suffers and health declines. Tiffany has personally supported PORCH since 2014 and later brought Hillsborough Pharmacy on as a PORCH for Schools sponsor, helping ensure students have the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

🌱 Giving back to Hillsborough
Tiffany and Hillsborough Pharmacy proudly support programs at New Hope Elementary, including PORCH for Schools, the Angel/Wish Tree, and the year-round Growing Voyagers tree. The pharmacy sponsors local T-ball teams, school arts and athletics programs, community theater, and nonprofits like Kiwanis, Optimist, and Rotary Clubs. Tiffany also serves on the Opioid Settlement Committee, helping direct resources to prevent and address substance use disorder in the community.

Snow/ice round 2 proves difficult for us to make it into work for another Monday. We will try to open at 11am until at least 4:30pm. Everyone is advised to stay off the roads if possible. Be safe and warm and hope that groundhog predicts an early spring 🤞

We are here today but it's cold and the snow is starting to stick. If you need to pick up today, please come by 12pm so we can get home safely.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with this new storm coming but when the forecast is anywhere from 0.01 to 29 inches of snow and a timeline that keeps changing, I just can't make the call yet. We hope to be open normal hours tomorrow. Stay tuned as we find out together! 😩😆🥶❄️

The roads are still icy and to keep everyone safe we will be operating on reduced hours again. Tomorrow we will be open 10:30am-5pm. Stay safe and warm!

Roads remain unsafe. We will try to open 12-3 today for emergencies but truly hope you do not have to get out in this. Stay tuned for hours for Tuesday. Here's hoping it's better tomorrow. 🤞

Hillsborough Pharmacy will be CLOSED tomorrow due to the conditions. The roads remain icy and are getting worse through the night. We will try to come in for a few hours for any emergency pickups but please do not get out on the roads if you do not absolutely have to. Stay safe and warm!!

We are continuing to monitor the storm and the roads before we make a decision about hours for tomorrow. Likely we will have a delayed opening and close early but we will update you as soon as we know what the day brings. Stay warm and safe!

A new year is almost here! We will be closing early tomorrow, NYE, at 2pm and CLOSED for New Year's Day. Back to normal hours starting Friday Jan 2nd.
