Congratulations to this month's Employee Spotlight, Terry Mason!

At UnitedRx, Terry is our Medical Records, Controls, & Transition Team Supervisor. She has been with our company since 2006, when UnitedRx was first establishing it's roots. She helped transition the company into what it is today!

Outside of work, Terry loves travelling, hiking, and capturing all of the special moments through pictures along the way.

Although most employees probably know Terry so well by now, one thing her coworkers may not know about her is that she loves spinach straight from the can! Yummy!

Terry, we truly can't thank you enough for being such a crucial part to what makes UnitedRx different from the rest. Your positive attitude is infectious throughout the company, and your humor always makes the long days seem to fly by. We are SO grateful to have you as a part of the UnitedRx family.

At UnitedRx, we know that minimizing non-covered medication costs are a top priority for your facility. Each patient's insurance plan has a different formulary that may cover one drug, but not the other. One solution we have implemented to resolve this problem is our Therapeutic Interchange Program. This program allows our pharmacy to make on-the-spot interchanges for medications in certain drug classes to the appropriate COVERED alternative.

Not only does this program reduce facility costs, but it also reduces the back-and-forth communication between our pharmacy and the facility, and between the facility and prescribers, allowing the facility to focus more on patient care.
