4TH COHORT OUR PAID CNA TRAINING PROGRAM UNDERWAY! This week was the start of the highly sought after paid CNA training program. They will go through hands-on training to get them ready to care for our kupuna and veterans. In this cohort we have 20 trainees total who will work at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home (6) Honokaa hospital 4) and HBMC's Extended Care Facility (10). Best wishes to our CNAs in training! Mahalo to CNA Training Coordinator Kim Mahi and Yukio Administrator Kaui Chartrand!

❤️🎄YOSVH 2nd annual Christmas store with our friends from D.A.R (Daughters of the American Revolution) Hawai’i Loa Chapter.

Our friends from DAR supports our veterans throughout the year and one of which is adopting our residents for Christmas.

DAR ladies came together today to give back to our Veterans at our very own Yukio Store. Residents were given Christmas bucks to spend at our store today and got to redeem them for snacks/items to have for Christmas.

A huge Mahalo to our D.A.R ‘Ohana for supporting our Veterans ❤️ Not only today, but year round.

Members from the Wall that Heals, Daughters of the American Revolution, Mayor Roth, Veterans organizations and Veterans from the community came together to put on yesterday’s ceremony to honor our Veterans & spouses of Veterans.
❤️ we’re so grateful for the love and support our veterans receive from the community.
