She is a graduate of UH Hilo Masters in Counseling Psychology and has worked at Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation, YWCA Sexual Assault Support Services and CFS Sexual Abuse Treatment Services prior to working full-time in private practice. She works from a Humanistic Psychology perspective and her primary modality is Person-Centered, although she is also trained in Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
