Meet Jordan! A native of Trussville, Jordan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Samford University after completing his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at The University of Alabama. With a strong sports medicine background, he brings a deep understanding of acute injury management, diagnosis, and return-to-sport principles to his clinical practice. Jordan thoroughly enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan to address orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative recovery, chronic pain, and functional movement challenges.

Outside of work, you can find Jordan hiking, biking, playing pickleball, fly fishing, and spending time with his wife, Abby, and golden retriever, Molly.

Welcome to the Moody, Alabama team, Jordan! We are excited to have you as our new Clinical Director!

Stretch of the Week: Half-Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch!
Long hours of sitting can leave your hips feeling tight and stiff. This week’s stretch targets the hip flexors to help improve mobility, posture, and overall movement.

Half-kneeling hip flexor stretch:
From a half-kneel, gently shift your hips forward while keeping your torso tall and core engaged. You should feel the stretch in the front of the hip on the back leg. Hold and breathe.

Add arm reach:
Raise the arm on the stretching side overhead and slightly reach back or to the opposite side. This increases the stretch through the hip flexors and into the front of the body for a deeper, more effective stretch.
