Your body holds onto weight for a very good reason and more often than not it less to do with the food you consume.

Statistically women’s bodies will have a harder time releasing weight if they are not SAFE. Most women are detached from their body and they don’t understand the language it communicates to them. We see our bodies as this separate entity when everything is connected. Your body is the PORTAL and until you learn to connect with your body you will always loose and gain back or have issues loosing.

Most women are carrying many things that dont belong to them internally whether they have the language for it or not.

This is SCIENCE.

Most of the time the messages your body is sending you are related to seasonal shifts and changes. For as long as I can remember I always said everyone gets a lil crazy when spring comes, in actuality it’s built up energy screaming to be released and liver stagnation. That’s right guess what emotion stems from the liver ANGER & RAGE.

No need to panic your body is just asking for support whether that’s through food or Herbs the choice is yours. After years of living seasonally I can tell you from experience we are not apart from nature. If you pay attention as the seasons shift your body does the exact thing that nature does. There’s a time to rest, a time to Bloom, a time to be outside it all comes in waves and seasons.

Making Banana nut muffins for my family and realized i didn't have any brown sugar! I could've used cane sugar but brown sugar adds more moisture due to the molasses. Mix cane sugar and molasses and that's all she wrote. If you want it darker add more molasses. I used black strap molasses.

Does this app even recognize pictures? I know y’all think I just abandoned the page and I ain’t even gone cap life been lifeing okayyyy but it ain’t nuttin ya girl couldn’t handle! If it wasn’t for my tools and some bomb ass wise women in my life man. I’ll be honest here and I don’t share much of this often until I come from under the rug ahhh well cause that’s just me. I vaguely remember this type of transformation and change when I first started Four Seasons Apothecary and the same thing happened again just much more intense.

I am no stranger to this and I know to birth something great requires a complete transformation that can sometimes get a lil ugly despite how pretty and glowing this picture looks. I love to educate and get into all the books and crannies about health, spirituality and a whole lot of other things but it’s tough to articulate those things on many of these apps. I totally understand the reason for the short form content but my calling often requires more in depth explanations that are easy to understand.

I have no idea what I’m doing (but I kinda do) and I’m just following the force within. If you wanna join me I’m a Substack girlie now sharing the journey there. It’s a way for me to educate and share in a way without being limited while fostering and building community! I’ve got about 8 years of wisdom to share that includes storytelling cause I know that’s how many relate. Dusty Roots is just a creative outlet for me to empower.
