What an amazing week we’ve had at the Pines! The 4th graders from St Francis joined us to create heartfelt gifts for the local hospital for the holidays. We also had the middle schoolers come by to spread some Thanksgiving cheer and warmth with our residents. Plus we enjoyed a fantastic performance by Brian Cosacchi and a cheerful happy hour on the front porch, not to mention a lively bingo game with family members. Thank you all for the joy and connection.

Who said memory care residents aren’t vital and don’t engage? Not anyone at the pines. If your family member is not engaging and loving life like this then they are in the wrong place. Our Reflections program enhances the collective and empowers the individuality of our residents. Stop by and see what a difference caring makes. Nathalie and Maria will be glad to share. This day the administrator did not want to miss the fun and led exercise followed by coffee and conversations. All things good, here at the Pines.

Hey you got a dollar? The days are not gone where a dollar can stretch a long way. Everything about the Pines at Hilton Head is customer friendly and economically savvy. Join us on the day after Thanksgiving, where everywhere else its called, Black Friday but in our community we are hosting, "Buck Friday". You heard it right, everything in our gift shop will be sold for $1!! Personal items, care items, gifts, perfumes, jewelry, all for One Buck. Looking forward to seeing you at the sales counter. November 28th, 10am-4pm. Thanks for being a supporter of the Pines at Hilton Head. Meet Kyle. The maintenance director for Hilton Head. Along with continuing to be Thankful and why we give thanks, this is part 2 of what the men of Pines at Hilton Head are thankful for. Kyle was asked the question, “How did you propose”? His answer was short and simple. It was Christmas and he had one present. His proposal and she said yes!! So 3 years and 1 gorgeous son later, born this year, Owen. He is still thankful. Thanks Kyle for all you do for your family and your family at the Pines.

Our pinning ceremony was truly heartwarming as we honored our veterans Kathy and Art with heartfelt recognition. A special thank you to Marine veteran Mike and MiraSol Health who led the ceremony and presented our veterans with beautiful blankets,hats, pins and certificates. It was a touching celebration of service and dedication.
