Our journey began when Tim, the backbone of our family, was suffering from chronic respiratory ailments. Our schedule was full of doctor appointments, trips into NYC to see the best specialists and test after test that started to weigh heavily on him and our family. We were desperate to find him reprieve when we came across our first halotherapy experience about an hour and a half from our home on Long Island. While he did not stop his treatments, visits to the salt room left him feeling refreshed and able to breathe better. When our family started to relocate to Hilton Head Island, we knew we needed to keep this experience a part of his routine. Pure Salt Studios came to be. We traveled from Maine to Florida visiting salt rooms along the eastern seaboard. We researched salt aeration technology and studio design to ensure we brought the best to the lowcountry. We hope that others can find relief, experience wellness opportunities and be a part of our new and growing salted community!
