Hello Hilton East Residents, Families, and Friends. We would like to provide everyone with a written update on the status of Hilton East. Since the evacuation, the goal has always been, and continues to be, to return our residents to Hilton East. We are nearly at the finish line of that goal. After working together with the Local Code Enforcement and the Department of Health, we are finishing a few final items this week. Hilton East staff has worked diligently to clean and organize the entire building, which DOH approved during their last walkthrough. Hilton East also has worked to create a repatriation plan for the return of our residents, which DOH has also approved. Once the building receives the final approval to allow our residents to return, we will begin that plan immediately. Residents and their primary contact/responsible party will be notified of the exact return date to Hilton East. The repatriation will occur over multiple days to ensure all residents are safely transported back. We are excited to soon welcome our residents back to their home at Hilton East and will continue to provide further updates here on our page. We are glad to see the end in sight of this event, and thank everyone for their understanding throughout this process.
