🎃 Halloween joy filled the dining room at Knott County Health & Rehab! Residents and staff came together for a fun party—tables glowing with candy and mini pumpkins. Red punch flowed, ghost-shaped cookies disappeared fast, and a lively costume costume brought cheers, prizes, and big smiles. Group photos captured the happiness. A simple, heartwarming day for everyone!

Congratulations to the entire team at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center on this well-deserved recognition! Receiving the 2025 AHCA/NCAL Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award highlights the commitment to continuous improvement, leadership, and strategic planning—core pillars of the Baldrige framework that AHCA/NCAL uses to celebrate excellence.
It's especially exciting that this was presented at the Elevating Excellence Awards Ceremony last night (October 21, 2025) in Las Vegas, Nevada, where nearly 800 organizations from across the country were honored for their outstanding contributions to quality care. We're one of just seven Kentucky providers to earn this Bronze distinction this year.

Knott County Health & Rehabilitation Center is committed to providing above standard quality of care with our 24 hour skilled nursing staff, physician services, laboratory, pharmacy services, radiology and therapy. Our dedicated staff at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center enjoys contributing to our beautiful community every day. An added wing has provided our facility with a new therapy room, physicians’ office with the capabilities of providing in-house exams, a bird aviary, a 120 gallon fish aquarium, a new dining room addition that leads out to a resident patio and several spacious day rooms all of which include large flat screen TVs. Beautifully decorated, our facility is a true home away from home. We invite you to visit our facility and see first hand our home away from home.
