For more than 20 years, the Hinesburg Firefighters Association has had the joy of escorting Santa through the neighborhoods of Hinesburg and St. George. It’s a tradition we’ve cherished, and we’re grateful for the smiles, excitement, and memories it has brought to our community.

As Hinesburg has grown, so too have the number of neighborhoods — and we’ve reached a point where it’s no longer possible to visit every area in a single day. With that in mind, we’re excited to introduce a new way to celebrate the season: a community Holiday Parade featuring Santa himself!

We invite everyone to join us on December 20th in kicking off this new tradition. Build a float and be part of the parade, or simply come out, line the route, and enjoy the festivities with friends and neighbors.

Parade Route
CVU Road → Mechanicsville Road → Commerce Street

Road Closures:
Mechanicsville Road at Commerce Street will close at 10:45 AM

CVU Road will close at 11:00 AM
Both will reopen once the parade clears the CVU Road / Mechanicsville Road intersection.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and spread holiday cheer throughout our community. Thank you for helping us make this new tradition something special for years to come!
