1. Dress Comfortably: Leave the jewelry at home! It’s easier to focus on relaxation when you wear fitted clothes that you can easily get in and out of.
2. Know Your Goals: Are you seeking pain management or looking for relaxation and stress relief? Understanding your goals can help me address your needs effectively.
3. Scheduling Matters:
- A 30-minute appointment is great if you want to focus on about 50% of your body—most people opt for an upper body massage (back, neck, and shoulders).
- For a 60-minute session, you can cover more ground! This allows for a full-body experience, including arms, legs, and both the front and back of the body.
4. Hair Care: If you have long hair, tie it up! This prevents it from getting tangled in lotion during your massage. Keeping your hair high on your head helps me access your neck for a soothing experience.
