Main Street Care Main Street Care is a non-profit long term care facility, located on the 3rd floor of Summers County Hospital.

We are a small 34 bed facility, which enable us to give personal attention to your loved one.

Main Street Care has an immediate opening for a fulltime Infection Control Assistant/Staff Educator/Scheduler. The job will assist the DON/ADON with infection control tasks, assign staff education through Medline University, complete monthly staff schedule and provide floor coverage for vacation and day off requests. The successful applicant must have a valid RN or LPN license, must be able to pass a West Virginia Cares background check & drug screen. Must have reliable attendance. It's always a pleasure to announce the full-time return of one of our own. Please welcome Mandi Lowry, RN, BSN as our new Administrator. Main Street Care is happy to announce that the Ladies Auxiliary of SCARH has come to the rescue and is purchasing the table needed for Main Street Care. It's hard to put into words how thankful we are for this wonderful group. Blessings to each of them for their thoughtfulness and involvement in our community.

After many years of service, Main Street's dining room table donated by the Women's Auxiliary, has had to be retired. The table has served many over the years. The facility is in the process of trying to replace it - if anyone has any ideas of where best to find a replacement - please let us know. The table's size was 9 feet long and 3.5 feet wide. This wasn't a small table. The replacement will need to be extremely sturdy and well built to handle the daily ongoing use. Any thoughts of a replacement would be greatly appreciated. As always, we try to work with local businesses.

Main Street care is currently looking for a full time 11p-7a LPN. The schedule is a 4 on 2 off pattern. A new pay rate also begins in January.
