HB 219 PASSES in the Senate - The Georgia Council for Recovery endorsed HB 219 by Representative Ron Stephens passes the Senate 46 - 1

HB 219 establishes a professional health program to provide for the monitoring and rehabilitation of healthcare professionals experiencing substance use disorders

Very thankful to Lt. Governor Burt Jones, the General Assembly Working Group on Addiction and Recovery and, especially, Representative Stephens and Senator Chuck Hufstetler

Our Post Overdose Response Team (PORT) is out making their weekly rounds. The RCO has been providing boots on the ground efforts to raise awareness in Paulding and Polk communities about the dangers of fentanyl poisoning. For the past few years we have been providing recovery resources and support to anyone who may need them in the community. We also have FREE narcan.
