We will look at four final areas to evaluate.

Our Minds, Our Bodies, Our Family, Our Church.

Come tonight with an open heart and mind and allow the Lord to bring change to your life.

We are honored to welcome Kevin, who will be sharing a powerful testimony of faith, healing, and redemption. His story is a reminder that no matter where we have been or what we have walked through, God is still writing our story.

“Hello Celebrate Recovery. I am honored to share what Jesus has done in my life. Through my walk in the desert, I realized I cannot do this alone. Ecclesiastes 4:10 reminds us that when one falls, another can help them up. In Celebrate Recovery, there is always someone to walk with you. It is through Jesus’ grace and mercy that I am saved.”

This is amazing!

First-of-its-kind housing for youth aging out of foster care opens in Knoxville!

On Wednesday Elmington President Ben Brewer, along with officials from Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation, the U.S. Department of HUD, Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon, TN Department of Children's Services Commissioner Margie Quin, TN Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative Executive Director Lance Villio, and more than 150 guests joined together to officially open Lumen Flats.

The new 18-unit apartment community is supported by a project-based FYI voucher, providing rental assistance for eligible young adults ages 18–24 for up to three years.

Lumen Flats will offer:

1. Stable housing in 18 studio apartments, each with a kitchenette and private bathroom.

2. Access to mental health support, including on-site therapy rooms.

3. Community and connection through shared kitchens, common living areas, and supportive adult relationships.

Celebrate Recovery | Lesson: Hope

This Wednesday, Melanie Dennis will be focusing on Hope—the kind that doesn’t depend on our circumstances, but on God’s faithfulness.
Even in the middle of pain, relapse, fear, or uncertainty, hope reminds us that God is still working and restoration is still possible.

We are so honored to welcome our speaker for Celebrate Recovery next Wednesday, the 14th. Tonya courageously shares a powerful testimony of faith, healing, and redemption. Her story is a beautiful reminder that no matter where we’ve been or what we’ve walked through, God is still writing our story. Here are some words from Tonya herself:

Hello. I’m a grateful believer in Jesus Christ who celebrates recovery from op**te addiction. I’m overcoming Complex PTSD from sexual and physical abuse. My name is Tonya.

I look forward to sharing how through Celebrate Recovery God saved my life, and how Jesus continues to walk me on a journey of redemption. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to share my story of hope with others. There is no doubt it has been the mercy and grace of God that has carried, kept, sustained, strengthened, and redeemed me.

Ephesians 3:20 “Now glory to God who is able through His mighty power at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

Join us next Wednesday, January 7th, for Celebrate Recovery as Bart Dennis teaches the lesson on Powerlessness.

This lesson reminds us that we don’t have to do life on our own and that freedom begins when we admit what we cannot control. We hope you’ll come be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that hope is always available.

As we move through the holiday season, we want to share a quick schedule update for Celebrate Recovery.

We will not meet on Wednesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) or Wednesday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve).

✨ We’ll be back together on Wednesday, January 7th, returning to our normal meeting time as we step into a new year of healing, hope, and freedom.

May this season bring rest, renewal, and reminders of God’s faithfulness. We can’t wait to see you in the new year 🤍
