***ATTENTION CHC PATIENTS***

As it stands right now, Medicare will STOP covering ANY telehealth services starting tomorrow, Oct 1, 2025, as they are rolling back exemptions that were put into place to help manage COVID. Commercial insurance companies generally follow Medicare's lead, which mean they will stop soon after.

Unless Congress intervenes in the next 12 hours, this WILL go into effect and Telehealth appointments will no longer be available.

We are currently contacting any of you who have Telehealth scheduled through the end of the week to get you moved to in-person or to reschedule.

We apologize for any issues that causes. We were hoping that this would not go into effect, but we are basically at a drop-dead state and there is little hope that we will be able to continue to offer that service.

Great news!

If you have registered for the Athena Health Patient Portal, you can go on there to schedule your own appointments!

If you haven't been seen since July 1st, don't worry. We just switched to this system, and we will talk to you about it at your next appointment and get you signed up.

Our new phone system is up and running. We had some early glitches, but it should be smoothed out now.

If you remember, please include the day and rough time that you called and what extension you were trying to reach. This will help us isolate which line is bad, so we can better get it resolved and avoid any future issues.
