ProClean, Inc., one of the longest standing commercial cleaning businesses in NWI, is seeking a highly functional performer to join our company during 2nd shift hours for support of our ongoing growth. We are seeking a candidate with a supervisory background who has served in the housekeeping field at some capacity to lead and oversee our new and seasoned Cleaning Technicians alike… If this is you, our impactful management team encourages you to apply and make a difference!

4:00 PM start time
Tuesday - Saturday, 5 days, 8-hour shifts
Occasional overtime mandatory
Responsibilities:
• Supervise cleaning technicians and facilitate efficiency & quality standards
• Train new employees, and regularly follow-up train established employees at their scheduled locations according to ProClean, Inc. procedures and quality standards
• Provide emergency cleaning coverage that may extend your shift hours
• Monitoring Emergency Room, hospital areas and other commercial buildings for cleanliness, sanitation, and correct operational procedure
• Regularly achieve targeted times for scheduled job duties
• Ensure all scheduled work gets completed on designated day(s)
• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties as needed
• Perform VeriClean blacklight inspections & other scored performance inspections
• Advance cleaning technicians on company implemented training goals which systematically issues employees their training raises
• Communicate punctually via text messaging and audio calls
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in management and/or supervising
• Dependable Transportation & Attendance
• Complete adherence to company quality standards, procedures, productivity, efficiency, and guiding principles (see “The Company” section of this post)
• Strong sense of urgency and responsibility
• High attention to detail
• Well-kept appearance and demeanor
• Medical attire (navy blue scrubs) when applicable
• Versatile communication skills and professionalism
• Rotating holidays mandatory when scheduled
• Maintain use of a smart phone for communicating throughout your work hours and submitting online shift reports
• Floor maintenance experience not required, but encouraged and compensated

ProClean, Inc. is looking for a dependable candidate to assist with ground level window cleaning (weather permitting), custodial & housekeeping attendant duties for commercial clients, and groundskeeping/shopkeep at our main office. Must be willing to travel as far as Crown Point & Merrillville to the west, and Valparaiso to the east for all applicable assignments.

Schedule

Sunday-Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 or 5:00 PM

Some holidays may be required if they fall on your scheduled workday

Responsibilities

· Maintain cleanliness in public and common areas and emergency department during custodial assignments

· Perform ground-level and stepladder-height window cleaning

· Handle material pickup/drop-off, shopping, and general errands

· Maintain office, garage, and grounds at main location

· Perform general physical labor as needed

· Oversee clock-in service to cover 'no-shows' when necessary

No experience required – we provide all training and tools for your success!

Requirements

· Must be 18 years or older

· Valid driver’s license

· Reasonable physical capability
