🎄 December Daily Share – Day 1: Holiday Memories 🎄

Today’s prompt is one of my favorites: Share Your Favorite Holiday Memory ❤️

I sat down with one of our sweet residents, and she lit up as she shared hers. She told me her favorite holiday memory was cooking for everyone and being surrounded by all her family. 🥰✨
She also said her favorite festive holiday drink is eggnog with a splash of vodka she said that’s what really made the holidays merry! 😂🎅🥂

Hearing these stories reminds us how special these moments truly are.

🌟 A Heart-Melting Morning at Hobart Nursing & Rehab! 🌟

Today our residents were treated to the sweetest surprise the Hobart Kindergarten class stopped by to sing for us, and they absolutely lit up the whole building! 🎶💛

There’s nothing quite like children’s voices to brighten a room and warm every heart in it. Our residents smiled, clapped, and soaked up every second. Moments like these remind us how special it is when generations come together. 🫶✨

A huge thank you to the amazing kindergarten teachers, parents, and of course our tiny performers for sharing joy with us today! 💐

Community + Kindness = Everything.

🎄 Our Angel Tree is officially up at Hobart Nursing & Rehab! 🎄
It’s that special time of year when we open our hearts to make Christmas a little brighter for our residents. Each tag on our Angel Tree represents one of our sweet residents and their Christmas wish.

If you feel led to help, simply stop by the front entrance, choose a tag, and sign and write the number in the binder so we can make sure each resident receives the right gift. 💛

⭐️ Please return gifts by December 15, 2025.
If you have any questions, give us a call and ask for our Social Services Director.

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and dedication.
At Hobart Nursing & Rehab, we are especially grateful for the veterans who call our facility home. Your stories, your strength, and your service continue to inspire us every day.

Our residents enjoyed a classic, comforting Southern-style meal prepared by our amazing dietary team:
✨ Smothered Pork Chop with Caramelized Onions
🥔 Creamy Mashed Potatoes with Savory Gravy
🥗 Country-Style Green Beans
🍞 Warm Dinner Roll with Butter
🍮 And for dessert Caramel Pecan Bread Pudding!

We’re proud to serve up meals that bring comfort, flavor, and a little taste of home to our residents each day. ❤️

👻🎉 3rd Annual Halloween Carnival at Hobart Nursing & Rehab! 🎉👻

What an amazing afternoon of fun, laughter, and community spirit! 🧡
Our residents, staff, and families came together once again for our 3rd Annual Halloween Carnival and it was our biggest one yet! From creative costumes and spooky games to sweet treats and smiling faces, the energy was simply magical.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us our residents absolutely loved seeing all the kids in their costumes, and we’re so grateful for the community support that makes events like this so special.
