The perfect supplement peer support group starts virtually on Wednesday 4/8. Spots are limited!
$65 per session
Clients must be residents of NJ.

*New clients of Healing on Hudson must do a brief $100 assessment to determine group readiness and fit*

The more the merrier this Holiday season! Welcome Reilly! 🎉🫶

Reilly is a licensed professional counselor accepting new clients in Hoboken and virtually! She is a seasoned eating disorder therapis, but also treats those struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges and trauma.

When asked about her approach, Reilly says "my approach is collaborative, intentional, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring our work to align with your goals, values, and unique needs. I aim to balance thoughtful guidance with genuine support, helping clients build insight and practical skills that foster lasting change."

All bodies are "Summer Bodies." In a time where there is the constant chatter of weight-loss medications, “Skinny-tok,” and other triggering social media narratives, we invite you to join our virtual body image group run by Frankki Sorce, LPC.

Summer Bodies is a 1 hour virtual body image group where we target body image with researched skills for success! This group is rooted in "anti-diet" culture, and is a brave space where participants can process the experience of having a body. We combat today's rhetoric so that clients will be armed with better tools to cope with body image as Summer approaches. Clients must be residents of NJ.

Wednesdays 6-7PM
Sessions are $80
$50 for students, teachers, the uninsured, or healthcare workers

We are enrolling now for our art therapy workshop collaboration with Growing Gems! The group will run virtually Mondays 5:30-6:15pm starting in November and will target self-image and confidence! No experience is necessary, just an interest in art therapy and all the wonderful therapeutic benefits it has to offer. ⬇️

Art therapy has been well- researched to improve mental well-being, social relationships, reduce stress, and feel better via artistic expression. For those with eating and body image concerns, art therapy is a fantastic addition to one’s therapy process, allowing clients to find a new language to process deep emotions that are often difficult for this population to express.

Yesterday I was invited by my long-time friend & colleague Jenn, the Director of Business Development & Admissions at , to co-host a “self-care & bloom” afternoon for a wonderful group of clinicians.

Working in eating disorder treatment can be very rewarding AND very demanding. It was a joy to be able to give back to my colleagues and give them an opportunity to pamper themselves.

IT’S EATING DISORDER AWARENESS WEEK 💖⚡️🧠🥞🙏🏼

And it can bring up a lot, we know.

We aim to bring your education 25/7/365 (check our highlights) but this week is always especially important to us.

This year, we are reflecting on how far we’ve come: a one- woman show to a 5 person team, a small Hoboken storefront to a household name around NJ, two locations, lots of degrees and licenses and certifications, a quest to make education on eating disorders more accessible and strengthen awareness for these deadly diseases.

We still have a really long way to go— sometimes it’s felt like we’ve taken a step backwards. We’ve had to fight against a global pandemic, poor healthcare legislation affecting our youth, mass money marketing ploys from big pharma, and more. We won’t stop the fight— in fact it only invigorates us. 😎

Oh and did we mention we’re fundraising for ?! Check back this week for cool sweatshirts for a worthy cause ✌🏻☮️🛍🛒

Thrilled to be running “Summer Bodies” next month into the summertime: our body image group!

What is the group about? A 1 hour per week body image group where we target body image with skills based in CBT and DBT, rooted in anti diet culture, where participants can process the experience of having a body and more!

Who is it for? Adults 18+ who are residents of NJ!

A message from Dr. Cassandra Lenza

My name is Dr. Cassandra Lenza, LCSW and I am a clinical social worker, eating disorder specialist and yoga teacher with over 10 years of experience. I currently serve as the clinical director for one of the main eating disorder treatment centers in New York City. At my core, I am a Jersey Girl and when I moved back to Hoboken, I was saddened to realize that Hoboken (or greater Hudson County) had little to offer in terms of specialized services for eating disorders and other mental health issues. I decided to take my expertise across the river, literally, and Healing on Hudson, LLC was born!

Healing on Hudson provides effective therapeutic services to Hudson County. Healing on Hudson specializes in depression, anxiety, and eating disorder treatment. Services include individual therapy, eating disorder treatment, family based therapy for adolescents and teens, and professional education and supervision. Dedicated to serving the local community, Healing on Hudson offers lectures, seminars, speaking engagements, and other workshops to local schools, community groups, and organizations.
