I'm excited to spread the word about Michelle Goitia's upcoming workshops in Erin Kumpf's amazing new space!

You don't know what you don't know as a new parent... and 4AM scrolling frantically on your phone through mom forums with your newborn red-faced and hollering at you is *NOT* the time to figure it out. Set yourself up for success and connect with the best in town. 💛

Happy March: Women's History Month! The 2022 theme (chosen by the National Women’s History Alliance) is "Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope." This theme is "both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history."

Providing Healing, Promoting Hope. ❤️ To all the wonderful women out there who do this important work -- in all the many ways it can be provided and promoted -- thank you. ❤️

✨PRENATAL SUPPORT GROUP CHAT✨
I'm *always* excited to speak about pelvic health, and if I can reach people while they are still pregnant, there is SO MUCH we can do to set you up for success. Like...
- resolve that ongoing back or hip or pelvic pain you were told by your OB/midwife that you "just have to deal with until the baby is here"
- give you solid advice on how to protect your pelvic floor during labor and delivery
- answer your questions about appropriate exercise during pregnancy
- explain what diastasis recti is and if you should be worrying about it + what to look out for
- give you the low down on kegels - and should you be doing them in the first place while pregnant?
- when you should have a pelvic health physical therapy check up after delivery (because, TBH, that six week postpartum visit is little more than a pat on the head and a "yeah, well, you had a baby so what do you expect?" kind of appointment -- ask your friends if you don't believe me!)

Got questions or concerns of your own? Tune into another wonderful JC Bump & Baby support group this week and I'll be excited to answer them! A big thank you as always to Michelle Goitia for the invitation. 😊

This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the best in the biz if you're expecting. Don't miss out, this is happening tomorrow!

"Women are often under prepared for the pushing part of labor, which may contribute to many hours of ineffective pushing, long term damage or pelvic floor weakness, preventable tearing, medical interventions or even a cesarean birth. This is due in part to a lack of understanding of and limited preparation for optimal pushing. I created my workshop, Pushing Power to educate and empower women about their own bodies, especially for the pushing part of labor! "~Chantal Traub

So excited to have Chantal join us for our Prenatal Support Group on 11/17 at 7 pm via zoom. She will be sharing her knowledge about birth from her experience as a birth doula and childbirth educator.
