What YOU see:
feet hip width apart, hands up near cheekbones, elbows tucked to shield ribs, chin tucked down to protect jaw, quick jabs, twisting torsos…
What WE see:
overworked pecs, lats often fatiguing, neck/traps overloaded, hip flexors turned all the way up, obliques constricted, glutes- just along for the ride..
Where MMA fighters need these muscles to be strong often times one wrong move can shock the muscles and restrict fluid movements. Here we worked on loosening up where this patient was restricted.. lats, rotator cuff muscles, pecs, traps. We then added in functional movement cupping to allow the body to bring blood flow, oxygen to those muscles and help open up any range of motion restrictions.
