A huge congratulations to Northwest Volunteer Fire Department for completing the Ironclad Wellness Peer Support Essentials Course—an intensive 8 hours of training focused on strengthening the mental health and resilience of those who serve on the front lines.

This course brought together an incredible group of professionals, including members from Champions Fire Department and Spring Creek EMS, representing a powerful mix of experience, dedication, and heart. The collaboration, engagement, and commitment we witnessed made this training nothing short of exceptional.

We are honored to have been part of this journey and are excited to continue building strong partnerships with Northwest Volunteer Fire Department in the future.

Ironclad Wellness is on-site in San Antonio! 📍🔥

I am incredibly excited to be here at the Henry B. González Convention Center for the SAFE-D Annual Conference! There’s nothing like the energy of beautiful San Antonio to kick off a great Friday of learning and networking with Texas Emergency Service Districts.

The mission doesn’t stop here, though! Next week, I’ll be heading to Corpus Christi for the Texas Association of Fire Educators (TAFE) Conference at the Omni Hotel. 🌊

It might not be "beach weather" just yet, but it’s all in what you make of it! I’m looking forward to seeing many familiar faces on the 3rd coast.

Let’s make it a great couple of weeks for the Texas fire service. Looking forward to seeing everyone at both events!

Galveston, TX, what a week! It was nice to be home in my own backyard and seeing first hand the impact we all have made in just one year. The MOST endorsing agencies ever for a 1st Responders Conference is an amazing achievement. Looking forward to opening up 2026 with two local engagements!

Today, on First Responder Day, I want to express my sincere gratitude and admiration for the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

Since 2004, I've had the distinct honor of working alongside and supporting first responders. Witnessing their unwavering commitment and selflessness firsthand has been truly inspiring.

The work you do on the front lines is nothing short of extraordinary. I also want to acknowledge the critical importance of health and wellness for our first responders. It's encouraging to see the increased focus and support being provided at high levels within the government to ensure you have the resources you need to stay healthy, both physically and mentally.

Thank you for your courage, your dedication, and your unwavering service. We are deeply grateful.
