A little about Dr. Utsahi Patel
I have always dreamed of a practice, where quality of care would mean more than the quantity of patients seen and where sick visits would take priority, but not at the expense of well checks. I was extremely happy and grateful for the opportunity to return to Illinois, after my residency in Las Vegas, and work with a wonderful mentor and colleague, Dr. Mukesh Doshi. Working together for one year really helped me to focus on learning how to take care of a practice. At the core of who I am as a person, I believe in quality of care and taking the time to know my patients and their families. The care I provide is deeply seeded in my own personal experiences in raising my 6 year old daughter as well as current guidelines and standards by the American Academy of Pediatrics. I strive to provide compassionate and loving care to my patients, treating each child with unique and personalized attention. There is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child. I believe that the pediatrician is a vital resource in that village, and that my role is always to offer support and education to parents and to be an advocate for children at every level. Fun Fact: I am also fluent in Gujarati, I understand Hindi and some Spanish.
