This morning, while watching the morning news, I was introduced to Misha Japanwala. She instantly evoked inspiration and adoration from me. I just have to share her with you!

As quoted from her website:

"Her practice is an insistence for bodies to occupy physical space, emphasizing the notion that our bodies shouldn’t need to prove anything other than being allowed to simply exist."

Her work, and what she emanates through her authenticity, is magnificent. With so much to love, i think the thing that reaches me the most is the healing experieneced between those that she molds and their relationship with their body.

Honored to have been a volunteer in support of Islip Goes Purple (IGP) in partnership with . We held mutiple sound baths with guided meditation and created space for personal reflection. The most special of all was the great people I had the pleasure of meeting. May you fly high on the wings of your butterfly dreams!

IGP: Raising awareness of mental health, substance use disorder and celebrating those in recovery.
