Infertility can be an extremely stressful diagnosis, especially when it is “unexplained.” Working with an acupuncturist who is well trained in women’s health and fertility can make the process less stressful, more empowering and more successful.

I snapped some pictures on my grocery trip this weekend to show you some foods that are especially helpful in springtime. Spring is wood season. The meridians that are most active are your Liver and Gallbladder pathways. The color associated with Wood energy is green and the flavor is sour. Does that mean ONLY eat green and sour foods? No! Remember balance… some is good. Too much is too much!

Craving something deeply chocolatey but trying to keep away from sugar?
I just tried these date sweetened cookies- so good! The base is pecans and dates - so no flour and no sugar.
The fiber and nutrients of dates really helps cushion their natural sugars. Happy to have discovered this tasty little treat! Recipe and my adaptations in the comments.

Bernadette and I loved visiting Breathe Pelvic Health Center and getting to know Tarah and Nicolette and the amazing work they do there. The space is so peaceful and healing, including the sweet office Bernadoodle! So excited for productive collaboration to improve results for patients.
