Rocksteady has always been a place to support the body through thoughtful movement, skilled bodywork, and practices that build awareness and resilience. We’re pleased to introduce another offering that supports this work: a weekly breathwork class.
By working with the breath, we can engage the nervous system and support the internal conditions that allow the body to soften, release, and reorganize. This often makes bodywork more effective, movement more accessible, and recovery more sustainable. People commonly report feeling more grounded, more spacious, and more at ease in their bodies after a session.
This class is facilitated by Rocksteady team member Juel Elsas, whose approach to breathwork is steady and deeply supportive. She creates a grounded environment that respects the body’s natural rhythms and capacity for change. She offers light, hands-on facilitation and bodywork to support regulation and release. Because the work is individualized, class size is limited to four participants.
No prior experience is needed. Breathwork complements all levels of movement and bodywork and can be especially supportive if you’re working with stress, chronic tension, or feeling “stuck” in your body.
We’re excited to offer this practice as another way to support whole-body health—supporting physical ease, awareness, and sustainable change from the inside out.
