Today Scouts BSA Troop 323, Hollis Maine participated in Scouting for Food with Cub Scouts- Pack 874 Standish, ME and Standish Troop 875 to benefit the Standish Food Pantry, which serves Standish and surrounding communities. ❤️

The community response was AMAZING - we collected 1,265 lbs of food and $2,703.16 in donations. ❤️

🎃 BOOktoberfest is TONIGHT! 🎃
Friday, Oct 24 • 6:00–7:30 PM • Hollis Elementary (school-wide)

📚 Book Fair will be open in full effect — stock up on great reads!
🚪 Every classroom door is decorated — stroll the halls and vote for your favorites!
🍰 Bake Sale & more — treats, fun, and community spirit.

This past weekend, Troop 323 assisted Troop 329 Limerick Maine as brass rats for the Maine Marshal's 2025 SASS (single Action Shooting Society) Maine State Championships 'The Great Maine Gun Fight.'

We learned a lot, had so much fun, and didn't let a little bad weather dampen our spirits! 🤠🏕️

We’ve been waiting all year for this – and now it’s finally HERE! Come join us TODAY at the Hollis Sports Complex for a full day of hometown pride, family fun, and memories that will last a lifetime!

Here’s what you can expect at this year’s Hollis Community Days:

🎊 10:00 AM – Parade kicks off the festivities! Don’t miss the floats, fire trucks, community groups, and more marching through town to get the energy flowing!

🎡 10:30 AM – Games & Activities Open! We’ve got something for EVERYONE — inflatables, games, crafts, and more!

🛍️ 40+ Vendors & Info Booths
Explore local crafts, artisan products, small businesses, and community organizations all in one place!

Whether you're craving sweet, savory, or something in between – we’ve got your cravings covered!

🎟️ HUGE Raffle & Silent Auction
Tons of amazing prizes, and best of all — ALL proceeds go directly to the Hollis Rec Summer Scholarship Program to help local kids make unforgettable summer memories!

💃 11:15 AM – All That Dance performance – high energy and hometown talent!

🎷 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM – S**o River Jazz Band brings the swing and classic big band sound!

🎸 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM – Curse of Kona turns up the heat with surf-rock energy!

🎤 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM – Don Anderson leads an open mic-style karaoke set – come sing along!

🎸 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM – Jack Fossett & Band deliver soulful Americana and blues rock vibes!

🎶 7:30 PM – BAD HABIT hits the stage! This high-powered cover band will keep the party going with hits from every decade!

🎆 9:00 PM – FIREWORKS!!
Thanks to the generosity of Poland Spring, we’ll cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the sky and your hearts!
