Weekly massage Q&A series continued:
This is a great question because I've found a lot of people wonder about this but think it's silly to ask...and it's definitely not. I'll just hit the highlights here and make it short:
Relax your body and mind (if your mind is racing try to block out the noise and concentrate on...well...nothing)
Communicate (this is always #1...be honest about your goals and don't be afraid to make adjustments to the room if needed)
Let go (no need to tense up and don't worry about helping your therapist with that difficult spot, she'll take care of it)
