After doing his own research, he discovered something often overlooked: abdominophrenic dyssynergia (APD).

APD isn’t a digestive disorder — it’s a coordination issue between the diaphragm and abdominal wall. Instead of working together during breathing, they move in a paradoxical pattern. The result? Bloating that’s often muscular and pressure-related, not just “gut issues.”
