We have had a busy couple of days at Southern Magnolia with Chi Chi doing some live music and getting ready to hand out candy to the kids in just a few mins.

We are so fortunate at Southern Magnolia Living to see our family grow in so many ways.
One of our new additions to the SML family is Aella, the new baby girl of our beloved Jonnie.
Today she stopped by for a visit with the residents and staff. Always love seeing her brighten up a room.

Our Southern Magnolia Living family has grown a little! One of our beloved staff had an adorable and healthy baby girl 2 months ago. We were all able to meet her this week at our staff meeting and we couldn’t be more proud of her momma, Jonie, and we are really looking forward to her return to work in a couple of weeks.

Jonie has grown so much in her time with us. She has a huge heart and passion for providing excellent care to her residents, she’s a joy to work with and brings an uplifting beam of sunshine to our care home everyday. We are so proud of her on many levels and we can’t wait to have her back after her maternity leave.

Running an assisted living facility is hard work! And sometimes ...most of the time, the work and gracious care we provide can go unnoticed.

Saturday was a fun and special day for the Southern Magnolia family. One of our loved employees, Jonie, will be having a baby girl in a few weeks so we decided that a baby shower was in order.
It was so much fun for all the staff, the residents and some dear friends of ours to be involved in celebrating her growing family.
We love you Jonie and can’t wait to see your new baby girl when she arrives!

It’s usually an active and fun filled home over here. Lots of visitors, activities and family.

Today is a special day for us at Southern Magnolia Living....today we have been open and providing excellence in elder care for 2 years!

Looking back from where we started to where we are now is humbling. So much change, growth, and learning has happened. All for the betterment of our residents, staff and business.

We want to thank all the families that picked Southern Magnolia as the right choice for them, trusting us with the care, well-being and happiness of their loved one, both past and present.

We want to thank our amazing staff for buying into our vision and philosophy and providing the best care anywhere. Our standards are very high, and you have risen to the occasion. Your dedication, love and professionalism shine through every day and it takes Southern Magnolia to the next level.

We are very proud of the last two years and the progress we have made. We are very excited about the future, our planned growth, and being able to continue to provide the care that Southern Magnolia has become known for.

Thank you to everyone that has played a part in the amazing journey so far...residents, families, staff, Luis in physical therapy, Hospice Teams, Doctors, volunteers and friends. This is always a team effort, and everyone has an important part in it.

We though we would post some pics of the last 18 months we have been open. This has been an incredible journey, filled with love, laughter and a some sadness for the losses.….but every minute has been worth it.

We couldn’t post all our pics, so we apologize if we missed anyone.

We are looking forward to this new year and bringing as much happiness, joy and comfort as we can to our residents and their families.
