We’re excited to introduce Leslie Martinez, our Optometric Technician & Vision Therapy Assistant at Family Eye Wellness. Leslie has been with us for a couple of months now, and we’re thrilled to officially welcome her to our patients and community!

She earned her Ophthalmology Technician Certification from Duke University and brings both knowledge and dedication to our team. Leslie assists in clinical care and vision therapy, helping patients of all ages improve their vision and quality of life.

We’re so excited to officially introduce you to Susan, the friendly face who greets you at the front desk here at Family Eye Wellness. She’s been with us for several months now, and her warmth and kindness make every patient feel right at home. 💙

✨ Fun Facts about Susan:

She grew up on a pig farm in the mountains of Virginia 🐷⛰️

She worked as a travel agent for over 20 years—so if you ever need tips on the Caribbean, she’s your go-to! 🌴✈️

Outside of work, Susan starts her mornings with a 4–7 mile walk (usually at 6 am!) and enjoys planting flowers while watching her hummingbirds.
