Dr. Hunter, Dr. Thrower, and Dr. Taylor visited the Capitol this week with the MOA leadership team where they sat in on the legislative process. They got to connect with legislators and see all the important work going on in the house and senate. We could not be more proud and encouraged for the future of Optometry and Mississippi as a whole!

Meet our newest Extern, Maggie Taylor! was born and raised in Greenwood, MS, but has been living in Sardis, MS since 2020. She graduated from Ole Miss in 2022 and will complete her doctor of optometry training in May 2026 from Southern College of Optometry.

Maggie plans to practice in north MS following graduation with hopes to serve a rural and underserved populated community.

You can find Maggie serving in our Senatobia clinic on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and in our Holly Springs clinic on Wednesdays.
