Our Story
I’am a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil moved to Miami, Florida in 1992 when I was 8 years old with my mother, father and two younger brothers. I started volunteering at homeless shelters as a young child and really fell in love with helping others’ and making a difference in the world. As my career began , I decided to pursue a degree in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapy while working alongside my mother in her community Mental Health Agency.
After almost 10 years working in the field of Mental Health, I decided to open up Blum Counseling Group LLC.; a private group practice of professional counselors with one mission in mind: To empower and awaken every person we meet so that we may awaken their inner potential! We have been in private practice for 2 years now, with offices in downtown Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale. I am passionate about creating positive changes in people’s lives and inspiring others. I my down time, I love going to the gym and spending quality time with my husband and 2 kids.
