The Medical Group Management Association’s most recent MGMA Stat poll asked healthcare leaders: “Does your practice offer remote monitoring services?” The majority (79%) answered “no,” while 21% responded “yes.” The most popular responses were cardiac monitoring and blood pressure monitoring. The poll was conducted on September 15, 2020, with 845 applicable responses.

As telehealth services mature, remote patient monitoring can be an effective means to measure patients’ health data and provide contactless care.
