I personally like to watch an episode of television while I’m on the treadmill.
When I come home and get the itch to watch it, I immediately go to the treadmill because I’ve associated the show to the activity 😀 and it feels good too, to relax and consume media but finish and feel good that I’ve done something good for my body.

People are always shocked when I tell them that the warm up is the stretching!

Unless you’re training to be flexible or you are about to play a sport without a warm up, then no, you do not have to carve time out for it.

Oils, syrups, sauces, dressings, etc. Literal hundreds and hundreds of calories can be taken away completely or replaced with food that’s much more nutritious and will help you feel full.
But that doesn’t mean it has to be bland.

You can put all the salsa and spices in the world you want (and mustard!) and if you really need it, try the oil cooking spray so that it’s so much less.

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats. Easiest prep breakfast ever. You can make a week’s worth of these in the fridge and they won’t go bad plus they’re tasty as a dessert too ☺️

1/3 cup oats
1/3 cup yogurt
1/3 cup oat milk
1/2 or whole apple
Handful of sliced almonds
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon almond butter

If it looks too soupy, add a small amount of oats 🙂

If you’re looking to add a new piece of equipment to your home gym or you’ve seen this lying around the gym before, give the hex bar (trap bar) a try!

I personally love it because you can use a lot more weight and still have really good form. Use chalk or straps if need be, and load it up!
It’s especially beneficial if you have bad knees or a sore lower back due to the more vertical position, which makes it easier to have good form and posture while still using a heavy load. Try it for these three exercises!
