1️⃣ Glaucoma often has no early symptoms
Most people don’t notice vision changes until permanent damage has already occurred.

2️⃣ Vision loss from glaucoma is irreversible
Once vision is lost, it cannot be restored—but early treatment can slow or stop progression.

Risk increases after age 40, with family history, diabetes, high eye pressure, or long-term steroid use.
