🔍 A Closer Look at Revision Breast Surgery

In this case, Dr. Asaad Samra, a board-certified plastic surgeon, performed a breast augmentation and lift for a patient who previously underwent a breast reduction, showing that surgical options can evolve as goals change.

Using her existing incision, he carefully created a pocket beneath the breast tissue, known as subfascial/subglandular placement, and placed 350cc silicone implants to restore volume and shape. The breast lift was then refined by removing small amounts of excess skin along the lower incision to improve tightness and contour. The incision was closed with dissolvable sutures, the area was bandaged, and the patient was transitioned to post-op recovery.
