The unspoken rules of home birth:
1️⃣ Someone will absolutely panic-clean the house between contractions — and it’s usually not the midwife.
2️⃣ There is always ONE family member who thinks they’re in charge… until the mother roars and they instantly reconsider their life choices.
3️⃣ The baby will be born exactly when the midwife finally sits down, takes off her shoes, or opens a snack. 😂

This petite little miracle was born into the loving arms of her incredible first-time parents — and her mama was an absolute rockstar from start to finish. 💜

She moved through each stage of her unmedicated home birth with such grace, grit, and intuition… even noting that the final moments of bringing her baby into the world felt amazing compared to the intensity of transition. (It’s always breathtaking to witness that shift!)

One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing the quiet triumph that rises in first-time families — the transformation, the confidence, the deep “we did it” moment that settles into the room as they welcome their baby at home.

Honored beyond words to have supported this beautiful new family. 🌿✨
