Diane spent most of her life bringing joy to others as a clown, entertaining crowds and making kids laugh wherever she went. And the best part? She’s not alone! Great Lakes is home to three other former clowns who love sharing stories, memories, and plenty of laughter about “the good old days.”

Residents like Diane and her friends remind us that retirement isn’t the end of bringing joy — it’s simply a new stage to share it even more. Their energy, humor, and heart light up our community every day.

A few weeks ago, Great Lakes hosted a very successful Craft Show, and we’re still smiling about it! 🎨✨

With so many wonderful booths to explore, residents and guests had a great time browsing, visiting, and finding unique handmade items. The energy, creativity, and sense of community made it such a fun and memorable event for everyone who attended.

Last week, Great Lakes hosted our annual Candlelight Dinner, and it was a beautiful evening to remember. 🕯️🎄

Residents dressed up for the occasion, posed for photos in front of the Christmas tree in the lobby, and enjoyed a delicious dinner together as we celebrated the festive season. The joy and holiday spirit filled the room!

To make the night even more special, everyone was treated to wonderful entertainment following dinner — the perfect way to end a memorable evening. ✨
